Adowa is currently building student housing projects across the country, looking to bridge the gap between demand for away-from-home student life and available student beds offered by tertiary institutions and current private providers. South Africa still has significant under capacity and Adowa aims to contributing to solving this problem.

Currently, Adowa has a 7 000 bed pipeline, under different stages of development and located across the country including the Eastern Cape, the Western Cape, Kwa-Zulu Natal and Gauteng. The properties are designed with two key elements in mind – community and security. All properties have communal spaces in kitchens and common rooms that allow students to live in simulated family units. This ensures, as far as possible, that no individual is left alone with no peer support. Our properties are equipped with amenities such as study areas and laundry rooms to ensure that students have full access to a suite of resources to make their study life and independence hassle-free.
